Beautiful, spacious family cottage in Somerset - extended and renovated. Ideal family or romantic getaway for South West exploring - or relaxing! 10 mins from medieval Wells, 20 mins from artistic hotbeds Frome & Bruton, a 40 min drive to historic Bristol and Bath, and also close to day trips to Longleat, Cheddar Gorge, Stonehenge and Lyme Regis. However, with a sunny quiet garden, comfy living spaces and oodles of charm, you may end up just staying in!... The space Our cottage is located on the edge of rural market town Shepton Mallet, with walking directly into the Mendip Hills straight from the house. It is a charming, colourful, quiet, light space with stacks of period features and cosy modern touches. It has parking, and wifi, and leads out onto a garden with seating. Sleeping arrangements: One master bedroom with king-size bed and ensuite - plus toddler bed if required One double bedroom Third bedroom with two single beds (as bunkbeds - can sleep adults very comfortably) The cottage has a very spacious downstairs: - Kitchen equipped with breakfast bar, range cooker, dishwasher, washing machine - Large dining room connected open-plan to the kitchen and leading onto garden. This lovely space is at the heart of the house. - Lounge with beams, TV and fireplace connecting to the Garden Room - Garden Room with bifold doors, sofas, coffee table - leads onto patio and garden; - Large garden with patio, oak table and chairs, and children's playhouse, trampoline; - Downstairs loo - off porch. The upstairs consists of: - The three bedrooms listed above, including an ensuite bathroom off the master bedroom - Bathroom with shower and double-ended bath Mobility note: the stairs to upstairs are classic cottage stairs, so quite twisty! This will cause no problems at all to the majority of users, but worth bearing in mind if navigating stairs are a issue for any guests. Guest access Access is to the whole property and garden.
