We’ve decided to open up our home and patio, offering a unique experience. You will be staying in your own private ensuite bedroom which even has its own washing machine and AC. Every morning, we offer a local traditional Jordanian breakfast which you can enjoy on our patio. A mixed selection of hummous, falafel, local olives, halloumi cheese and other white local cheeses, foul medames (fava bean dip), baba ganoush (aubergine dip) and fresh pita bread served with Arabic tea and coffee. The space Our home is bright and spacious, you are free to enjoy the patio, dining room and living room. We are always happy to make ourselves scarce as we have our own rooms. It’s just a mother and daughter in the home. Any evening where we are having dinner we will be happy to offer you to try a home cooked traditional dinner at no extra cost! Guest access You can enjoy our patio any time you like. Other things to note Just a few things to bear in mind, -Our home is located quite close to a mosque and the first few times you hear the early morning call to prayer it may seem rather loud, but most people get used to it after a day or two (then again this may be common for all rentals you are considering) -Traffic is an issue in all areas of Amman, especially the touristic areas during peak hours, the weekends here are Friday and Saturday. -Friday is a holy day here, so usually things are pretty quiet and closed Friday morning, and usually until the afternoon prayer has finished. -Some tourists don’t like staying in non-touristic areas, some tourists prefer it. I would consider our area to be non-touristic. But, we are just off a long main highstreet with plenty of restaurants and cafes. It has some of the best seafood restaurants. We are more than happy to make recommendations for great local food just minute’s walk from our place. -Our home is located on the basement floor, we do however have a lot of natural sunlight. -We do have two entrances to our apartment, one through the main building’s entrance, one through the carpark which is a small slope next to the building that leads to the patio.
