A small, private stone cottage tucked into woods with a garden. Outside there is a fire pit, grill, and seating. Inside is snug with a woodburning fireplace, a spiral staircase leading to a loft bedroom, and large windows looking out onto the woods. Ideal for a private getaway for two or with pets (leashed). The cottage is on the same property as the log home, and guests are welcome to walk the paths and view the garden. Centrally located between Fish Creek and Egg Harbor, off Highway 42. The cottage is cozy and just big enough for two. The spiral staircase is snug, so you cannot bring suitcases upstairs. There is air-conditioning or fans, but the inside stays cool bc of the stone. Generally, to warm it up, people leave windows open. The kitchen is small. This cottage is ideal for those with dogs bc the property has a big yard and walkable paths next to HWY 42, and you might see wildlife, so don't walk dogs unleashed. I have a long tether if needed. There is a garden and seating outside, and the cottage is isolated, so enjoy the tranquility of your little paradise. Other details to note: The Stone cottage has a unique stone fragrance, especially if there is a lot of rain. This happens more in fall and spring during rainy seasons. Large windows on three sides of the house can be opened. If you have scent sensitivities, this is not a good fit for you. guests can walk the paths up to the log home and use both properties. Need Car or any other form of transportation to get around This is not a big space, but it is incredibly cozy. You will hear the cars on the highway, but it is set back far enough, and trees line the front so the drivers won't see you. Please purchase wood if you want to use the fireplace. I have starter logs only. It is isolated and dark at night.
