The space Wake up to panoramic sea views in this spacious one-bedroom apartment in beautiful Westgate-on-Sea 🌊 Just moments from West Bay beach and a short drive from Margate, the apartment sleeps up to 3 guests and is perfect for couples, friends or anyone looking for a relaxing break by the coast. The bright living and dining area overlooks the sea and has plenty of space to relax, with a comfy sofa bed, dining area and cosy fireplace. The bedroom features a gorgeous king-size four-poster bed, soft lighting, plenty of storage and a dressing table – making it a lovely place to wake up after a good night's sleep. One of our favourite things about this apartment is the outdoor space. You'll have two private sea-facing terraces, perfect for sitting outside with your morning coffee, enjoying the fresh sea air or simply watching the world go by. The fully equipped kitchen has everything you'll need for a self-catering stay, including an oven, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine. The bathroom has a bath with electric shower, basin, toilet and additional storage. The apartment is situated above The Swan, a popular local pub and restaurant. At weekends there can occasionally be live music and a lively atmosphere from the courtyard below. Entertainment finishes at around 9pm, but we like to make guests aware of this before booking. Westgate-on-Sea is a lovely Victorian seaside town with two beautiful beaches – West Bay and St Mildred's Bay. It's a quieter alternative to nearby Margate while still being close enough to enjoy everything Thanet has to offer. Take a walk along the coast, spend the day at the beach, explore nearby Margate or simply stay put and enjoy the panoramic views stretching along the coastline towards Reculver. During spring and summer, you can also enjoy some absolutely beautiful sunsets from the apartment and terraces. In autumn and winter, the quieter beaches, coastal walks and sea views make it a lovely place for a cosy seaside escape. Whether you're planning a romantic weekend, a few days away with a friend or a work-from-the-coast break, make yourself at home and enjoy life by the sea. Abbey & Joe Guest access You will have the entire apartment to yourself, including both terraces. It is self check-in via a keybox on the premises. Plus our local guide to the area. Other things to note This is a strictly non-smoking apartment. Children: The apartment is not suitable for children under 5 due to the elevated terraces and its location above a pub. Sofa bed: If you'd like the sofa bed made up for your stay, please make sure your booking is for 3 guests so we know to provide the additional bedding. Travelling with a larger group? We also own the 2-bedroom apartment directly next door, which sleeps up to 4 guests. Subject to availability, both apartments can be booked together, allowing groups of up to 7 guests to stay next door to each other while still having their own space.
