This is a great stay for outdoor enthusiasts, pet lovers, or those travelling and want a homey and private place to stay for the night. The house is located in the country, but approximately 5 minutes from 1-75, 5 from Laurel Lake, 15 from Corbin, and 30 from London. Huge outdoor space which includes 1 acre private lot, large screened in porch with dinning area, a fire pit with chairs and picnic table, and fenced in back yard. Sleeps 3: upstairs loft bed is a full, downstairs is a twin. This is a lofted studio tiny home. There are two lofts with two sets of stairs. One is the "closet" area where guests can store luggage or soiled linen (there is also room for a twin air mattress here if you need more sleeping space than I have available), the other is the main "bedroom" area, which has a full bed. To access the main bed area you MUST climb stairs and navigate a small cramped space. Please note that this is truly a tiny house! It is only 200 square feet! The bathroom is small, the kitchen is small, and the lofted main bed area is small. If you are more than 6' tall, claustrophobic, or have mobility issues, the house may not be a good fit for you. Even though the house itself is tiny, the outdoor area makes up for this! The covered screened in porch is larger than the actual house and is great for relaxing and reading a book, eating meals, or hanging out with family, friends, or your pets. I often hang out in the hammock while my dogs nap directly under me. Pets are welcome and safe here! Home has a large fenced in backyard and outdoor pets have access to the screened in porch where there is a weather proof kennel, bed, and large water bowl. Indoor pets are also welcome, but please keep dirty pets off of beds. There is also a firepit on the lot, but you must bring your own firewood, which all of the surrounding convenience stores sell. This is a private home, which you will have full access to. This includes the house, yards, screened in porch, and driveway. You will not have to share it with anyone. I will be available via the app, but if you need assistance that requires my presence I will make myself available. Otherwise, I will respect your privacy and you will not see me during your stay. However, I do pull the garbage bin (under the small cedar tree to the left of the driveway) to the curb every Wednesday evening. The house is in a rural, country setting with very few neighbors. Corbin is a small town, but has lots of outdoor activities to offer. 30 Minutes from Cumberland Falls. 30 minutes from London, KY. Off street parking with lots of room for trailers, ATV's, and boats. A car is necessary, since the neighborhood is not walkable. 15 Minutes from downtown Corbin 30 Minutes from downtown London 5 Minutes from Laurel Lake via Flatwoods Boat Ramp 20-30 Minutes from Holly Bay and Spillway (Beach) of Laurel Lake 5 Minutes from Laurel River 30 Minutes from Cumberland Falls 30 minutes from Historic Camp Wildcat and Wildcat ATV Park in London 5-60 Minutes from Daniel Boone National Forest, depending on which part of the park you are interested in.
