In all seasons, Bellême comes alive and is visited, each season is full of charm and discoveries. This house has a nice story because it has belonged to the family for over a hundred years, to the great-grandmother who was named Gabrielle. The space Our accommodation consists of: - A living room with dining table and sofa area, armchair, TV - A bedroom with a double bed 140 x 190 cm - A kitchen with side table for breakfast for example: gas stove, oven, dishwasher, fridge, coffee machine, toaster, etc... - Upstairs is a 2nd bedroom with a bunk bed, double bed downstairs 140 x 190 cm and 90 x 190 cm upstairs - A small shower room overlooking the kitchen - A separate toilet - Outdoor courtyard with table to have your meals This family home has been preserved in its original state and you can discover its history through frames and some decorative items. Other things to note For the record, this building dates from the mid-17th century, it was the former water and forest building, and this particular house was formerly the Café du Commerce :) Several markets to discover good local products are organized throughout the week: - Thursday in Bellême - Saturday in Mortagne-au-Perche - Sunday in Boissy-Maugis, a local farmers' market Many other typical Perche villages such as La Perrière, Mortagne-au-Perche, will be accessible within a 10/15-minute drive. You can book a table at one of its tasty restaurants and we can also advise you :) Here, you can discover very nice decoration & antique shops and local merchants with unique know-how. Beautiful walks are easily accessible by bike and an electric bike rental is even accessible just 15 minutes away. You can enjoy the roads leading to the different villages through the Percheron forest in peace. The fabulous Saint-Cyr-la-Rosière Eco-Museum, where many events are organized, is just 5 minutes away, and the famous Courboyer Manor is 15 minutes away. Mushroom picking, especially ceps, is a real treasure hunt in October/November.
