The home was built 102 years ago by my grandparents who raised 8 children in the home. It has been continuously lived in and upgraded since! Large kitchen, dining room, and huge open living space with huge open windows all around. Unlimited walking on the property or down the open gravel roads if you wish. There is literally no noise but the sound of the birds and the breeze through the pines. A wonderful 4 season getaway from the front range that is guaranteed to recharge the body and the spirit! Guest access The 30 acre grounds are yours to take in. Probably best to avoid closed-door outbuildings and climbing ladders. The entire home is all yours to use with the exception of the basement where the lions and bears are peacefully sleeping. Look in the kitchen cupboards to see some old time utensils, etc. Other things to note The city of Yuma is just 10 minutes away and has multiple eating and drinking establishments with great food. The people are friendly and welcoming as is the home and property. There is a caretaker on the property who lives with his family in a separate home. This is the ideal place in all 4 seasons of the year to escape for a weekend or a week from the chaos of the city or just your lives, and come out and experience what God intended life to be!!
