My colorful cottage is the perfect base from which to explore Ghent. It is located in a quiet working-class neighborhood, but in five minutes you can be in the city center by bike. Do you like to read? Welcome. Do you like exploring the city? Welcome! Do you like to have breakfast in the sun on the terrace? Welcome!! Do you like a quiet neighborhood near downtown? This is the place to be. Do you love colors and plants? Yes, you found me! All necessities, shops, post office, bank etc. are around the corner. The space My cottage is not big, but it has everything you need and is very cozy. The living room has a cozy blue sofa in which you can completely relax. Or do you like to play the piano? That's also possible! The kitchen is fully equipped, with microwave, dishwasher, oven, blender, refrigerator, freezer ... The bathroom has the best shower I've ever had! And there is even a small bath for those who like to take baths. The storage room has become a library, with literally hundreds of books. Most of them in English. Go ahead and browse and read something fun! Here you can also do the laundry and find the cleaning supplies. The bedroom has high ceilings, lots of light and lots of plants and doors to the garden. The bed is 1m40 wide with a good firm mattress and soft sheets. Please note: there is no heating in the bedroom, but there are warm blankets, hot water jugs, cherry stone pillows, extra blankets and everything you need to stay warm :-) The garden is still in full construction, as you can see in the photos. But maybe it's already changed a bit when you're there! The terrace is definitely breakfast and sun ready. Guest access The whole house is yours! Other things to note This is my home, not a weekend home or second home. I live here. So my stuff will be in the cabinets. Clothes, bathroom products and food in the pantries. You are welcome to take food from the pantry, if you replenish it afterwards. I like to be flexible before the arrival time. I can sometimes let you in very early, if there are no other guests. But sometimes I'm working in Brussels, and I can't let you in until 6 p.m. Let me know when you arrive and we'll meet!
