This is a unique boathouse right on a secluded (still not private) beach very close to the famous Sarakiniko (the lunar landscape of Milos) The place is specially designed for people who wish to escape from a busy and hectic routine. It's one big space (except of the bathroom of course) with direct access to the sea. The space The first thing that you will see once you will arrive is our beautiful veranda right next to the sea! Once you walk in the house we have the kitchen area and on the right is one bedroom area (still there is no door between kitchen and bedroom) Generally the house has no separate rooms, all facilities are in one single area. So after the kitchen area we have the dinning area where you can find a table for 4 people and then its a traditional sofa. Over there we have another double bed and then at a special area over the double bed (wooden platform designed for the fisherman to sleep on) we have a single mattress which is our signle bed. This is not a typical vacation rental. There are many special charecteristics of the house which you need to know before booking with us, so please take a look below: - The house is not connected with the main electricity grid. We use ecofriendly approaches due to its location in the nature. For a "normal" use of the house are more than enough, but if by any chance you have any special devices with you which require a lot of power then we need to discuss this prior to reserve. (Mobile phones, laptops, cameras etc etc are fine) - The beach right in front of the house is secluded but not private. Some locals might show up to have their swim and they are allowed to do so. Also kayakers might use the shore (not frequently though). - The house is located on the north path of the island, so hikers tend to pass by. (Some days few, some days noone) - My family is owning a second boathouse right next to this one. They might show up some days in the week to have a swim. - The house is located at the north side of the island, therefore the house's beach can easily be affected from the north summer wind (we call it "meltemi") which appears for about 3 - 4 days after days of high heat. Meltemi is common for the months of July and August, and it can greatily affect your stay. - The house is very close to the main villages (5km from Adamas port), but it is very quite and has no nearby shops or houses, so we would reccomend that you rent a vehicle (moto, atv or car is ok) -It is the perfect place if you would like to get away from the everyday life and enjoy your vacation to the fullest. Guest access You have access to all areas of the house. Other things to note The check in process happens in "Milos Miles rent a car" office in Adamas port and then we will guide you to the house (which is 5km from the port).
