As a traditional village, Ambleside has so much to offer in a small area; with a great deal of walking, traditional pubs, and everywhere is pet friendly! The space Amber Cottage sits in one of the oldest parts of Ambleside, at the bottom of Wansfell. Just down the hill is the head of Windermere, England’s largest natural lake, with Waterhead being just a short stroll downhill from the doorstep. The cottage is a perfect example of a small Lakeland cottage. Downstairs is comfortable for two with an open-plan living/kitchen area, breakfast bar seating, and SMART TV. Amber Cottage has a quiet King size bedroom with an en-suite bathroom boasting a spa bath, shower, natural stone washbasin, and tiled throughout. Outside, there is a shared patio area and outhouse which is great for leaving muddy boots and drying your walking gear.
