Beautifully updated apartment in the heart of town! Close to Lake Carlyle, Governors Run Golf Course and numerous wineries and wedding venues. THIS IS MY PRIMARY RESIDENCE. The space will be clean and personal belongings will be put away but the apartment is lived in. THIS IS A DUPLEX AND SHARES A WALL WITH PERMANENT TENANT. NO PARTIES AND PLEASE KEEP NOISE TO A REASONABLE LEVEL. Please make yourself at home and enjoy everything that Carlyle and the surrounding area have to offer! This is an updated 2BR / 1BA apartment that is fully furnished and ready to make your stay in Carlyle as enjoyable as possible. The bedrooms are spacious and the kitchen and dining room allow plenty of room to relax. There is a large 4K TV in the living room that has built in Chromecast, Youtube TV, and Netflix already connected! There are a number of delicious restaurants in the area but kitchen is stocked with all the essentials you should need to prepare your owns meals if you prefer. I am generally available for phone calls and I am happy to provide as much information on the area as I can. Unless requested I will not be physically present during your stay. You are perfectly situated to access Carlyle Lake in minutes! If you prefer to bike there is a trail that will take you right to the lake and a beautiful trail across the Lake and around Kaskaskia river. You can find a number of excellent short hiking trails around Carlyle Lake as well. The apartment is essentially across the street from an IGA grocery store, gas station, and multiple restaurants. There is a Wal-mart less than 5 minutes away as well. My favorite restaurant spots include: 1. Chaddy Daddy's BBQ - Walk-up window to order BBQ with the best ribs in town. Outdoor seating available. 2. Duey's on Fairfax - Quaint restaurant/bar serving delicious sandwiches and salads. 3. Guzman's - Authentic Mexican restaurant 4. Bretz Wildlife Lodge & Winery - Informal eatery & winery offering American fare & live music in a space inspired by a safari lodge 5. The Keys Restaurant & Lounge - The Keys offers good food, live music and a view of the lake if you sit upstairs. 6. Twelve Oaks Vineyard - Small family run winery with a picturesque view. You are centrally located and within minutes of Lake Carlyle, Governors Run Golf Course, Carlyle Lake Golf Course and numerous restaurants and bars. There is limited access to Lyft in the area but you will likely have to walk, bike or drive to most locations. You are within 5 minutes walk of a grocery store, gas station and multiple restaurants.
