Picturesque location on farmland with views of the mountains. We are a micro farm. Wake up and watch the sunrise and go for a short hike on the property, and get to know the animals. We are located 35 minutes from Saratoga Springs and Lake George, NY and 45 minutes from Dorset and Manchester, VT. Hike the Adirondack or Green Mountains, paddle the streams or go to a nearby small city for a play, a festival, or a concert. There is a long list of things to do and see within an hour of our camp. Our adorable tent is situated atop a long hill with a beautiful view. Our animals will be grazing below you, and you will see mountains in the distance. Accommodations include a small cookstove, a picnic table, a queen size air mattress with two twin air mattresses also available upon request, a fire pit, adirondack chairs, a solar shower, a 5 gallon potable water container, and an outdoor toilet. The tent sits on a platform with a deck in front so is never wet or uncomfortable. You may feel free to walk the property and stroll through the woods on your own. We work during the day, but are here evenings and weekends and are glad to help you out anyway we can. We live in a very rural setting, but a 35 minute drive to Saratoga Springs withits museums, horse racing, night life, music and festivals, or Manchester, Vermont for sight seeing, outlet shopping and wonderful food, and short drives to Hiking in the Adirondacks or Green Mountains, fishing on the Battenkill, canoeing and kayak rentals. You can drive up to the camp so no hiking in. We are on a rural road, but only 10 minutes from coffee shops, and grocery stores.
