Unique, peaceful and clean 1550 sf A-frame Cabin nestled in the Pines of the High Sierra's. The perfect getaway for a relaxing weekend or HomeBase for those exploring the Pinecrest/Dodge Ridge area. Pinecrest is only 5 mi away. Dodge is only 8 mi away. Perfect for BBQ's and sharing stories outside on the deck with friends and family. Enjoy the fire table and smores while star gazing. Did I say clean - Yes, it's clean and newly remodeled. 10GB wifi data/day included. The space A-frame main cabin, with large open beams, wood ceilings and stunning Hickory wood flooring. Large deck, patio set with fire table and BBQ to enjoy the outdoors. The cabin and deck lights up nightly for outdoor entertaining. No neighbors across the street, just trees. Safe and quiet neighborhood for walks. Fully stocked kitchen with everything you need to prepare meals. 1550 sq ft so everyone can spread out. Master bedroom has it's own private balcony, great for sunning or star gazing. The property is gently sloping, so you can easily walk around the entire cabin. From parking it's just a few steps down to the cabin, it's not a hike, like many others in the area. Guest access Enjoy the entire cabin. 1 closet in Twin bed bedroom is locked and 4 high cabinets locked for cleaning supplies. Garage access is not yet available. Cell service We usually have 1-2 bars of AT&T 5G at the cabin. Verizon is weak and other carriers have no service in this area. If you have AT&T, we suggest using your cell data for streaming since we are only able to offer 10GB/day in our daily rates. If you have other cell services please print instructions before you head up to the property. Also, another way to get accurate directions to the cabin is to put the address in the maps app on your phone before you start your trip. Once you lose reception in the city of Long Barn the maps app will still be able to bring you right to the property without reception. WiFi We have WiFi using AT&T 5G for our guests. Please limit use to 10GB per day. Unfortunately, we don't have unlimited service with fiber or cable in our neighborhood. This is the best service we've found in the area for our guests. WiFi speeds vary, and may not support multiple streaming users. If you have AT&T or Verizon, we suggest you use your Cellular Data or Hot Spot for multiple streaming users. Please contact us if you have any questions or concerns. We do not have a landline telephone at the cabin. Parking We have a short paved driveway that you could park two vehicles in front of the garage door. You may also park a 3rd vehicle on the left side of the garage, between the pine trees. During winter, parking may be limited to 1 car depending on snow accumulation. Snow/Severe Weather If your stay is cancelled due to severe weather or if the cabin is not accessible due to heavy snow, we will do our best to notify you 24 hours before check-in. Depending on the situation, we may choose to offer rescheduling or a refund. Nov-April are months we typically get snow. During this time we remove all furniture from the decks, such as chairs, tables and BBQ, to protect them from the snow. In the winter months, we highly recommend that you carry chains and/or have AWD/4 wheel drive. The local area does experience a few, short power outages each year. When these occur, they are usually short - just a couple hours, and we will do our best to keep you advised as soon as we are alerted to these. We do not issue refunds for power outages that occur. Emergency battery powered lanterns provided in entry closet. Fireplace and heater continue to function when power is out. We have provided two snow shovels at the property to assist in snow removal. You might be required to shovel snow to access the cabin/parking/deck.
