Bring your canoe or Kayak to enjoy the river, or use our tubes for a lazy float. We hope you love our cottage as much as we do! The space The front door opens to a large open living room and kitchen which has just been beautifully renovated and decorated. The rustic open shelving in the kitchen was made from trees that we cut down on this property. The living room has a large, comfortable sectional and a huge 65 inch smart (ROKU) TV. We don't have standard cable television, but we do have fast wifi that will allow you to stream all of your favorite shows. Follow the hallway to the right to three bedrooms and two full baths. Two of our bedrooms have very comfortable queen size beds, and one bedroom has twin bunks. Off the living room through french doors is a lovely sunroom and dining area. A sliding glass door leads to an expansive deck with a HOT TUB, dining table w/ umbrella, propane grill, propane fire pit, and Adirondack chairs. Our property is on a large lot (about 3 acres) with a beautiful yard leading down to the Shenandoah River. We have just recently built a deck to enjoy the sounds a views of the beautiful river. Use some of the provided wood to make a fire in the fire pit. As you can see from the pictures, our lot is above the river, but we do have a staircase leading down to the river for easy access to the water. We also own the house next door (to the left as you drive in) and is operated as another airbnb. Feel free to book both for larger groups! Both properties share the staircase, but both have a separate private decks and fire pits to enjoy We are pet friendly, but only for approved pets that are listed on the reservation. We allow house trained pets, with up to date flea/tick medication. Our pet fee covers up to two pets. If you have more, please reach out to us so we can have a conversation. Other things to note The Shenandoah Speedway is a couple miles away on the other side of the river. They very seldom have races, but when they do, you can hear them from our property.
