Blue Jay Chalet: Keep calm and chalet on!

Escape to this unique retreat nestled amongst the white-washed birches and majestic pines. Located 10 minutes from downtown Clare in the picturesque Five Lakes community, this haven is the perfect getaway for all four seasons. This adorable A-frame comfortably accommodates six persons. Furry guests are welcome as well. The stylish "cabin core" design is stimulating to the eye. Come relax both inside and outside this quaint gem. The space The chalet has been completely renovated from top to bottom. The "rustic glam" style is apparent throughout. You will find custom-crafted pieces, including: the coffee bar; kitchen island; dining room table; fireplace surround; desks fashioned out of a toboggan; and a sled console table. The spacious bedroom(s) upstairs captures the themes of both winter and summer, with headboards made of skis and canoe paddles. Kids will particularly enjoy this area...as it feels like you are in a treehouse. You can enjoy your morning coffee on the private backdoor patio...while keeping an eye out for deer. The fire pit area, complete with tiki torches and phone/drink holders, is the perfect place to enjoy quality time with loved ones. Corn hole, ladder ball, and other outdoor games will provide hours of entertainment for persons of all ages. There are several small inflatable boats, as well as life vests, that are available for your use at the lake. The boat access is a 5 minute walk from the house. The public picnic area by the lake is less than 5 minutes. The beach area across the lake is a 15 minute walk, or 5 minutes by car. Guest access Guests will have full access to the chalet and the outdoor areas. Other things to note The chalet is approximately 20 minutes from the Soaring Eagle Casino in Mount Pleasant....which hosts concerts/events throughout the year. Please use driveway only for parking, as there is a septic field in the front yard. The firepit area is seasonal, as is the outdoor patio/grilling area. They will be available for use approximately mid-April-May 1 thru Nov. 30....give or take a few days, depending on the weather. The chalet is decorated for the Fall/Halloween and Christmas/Winter seasons. Just a note....the chalet is dog-friendly. We do our absolute best to clean as thoroughly as possible; however, please understand that stray hairs may be present. In addition, we are in the country...so we do have well water.
