This 1,750 sq. ft. cottage offers comfortable living space perfect for families or friends looking to unwind by the sea. Arrive down a long dirt driveway to a classic East Coast cottage with cedar shake siding and plenty of parking on the freshly gravelled driveway. The well-equipped kitchen features white cabinetry with gold hardware, quartz countertops, a subway tile backsplash, and modern appliances including a retro-style fridge, stove, dishwasher, microwave, Keurig, and drip coffee maker. Enjoy meals from the dining room with seating for six. Relax in the main-floor living room with a cozy electric fireplace wrapped in shiplap and comfortable seating. It is the perfect spot to read, play board games, or enjoy time together. A full bathroom on the main floor has a soaker tub and a stand-up shower. The laundry room adds convenience for longer stays. Upstairs, a large family room features a sectional sofa, TV, and breathtaking views of the ocean, wharf, and Confederation Bridge. Three bedrooms provide restful sleep. Two have queen beds, one of which also has a twin, and the third has twin bunk beds ideal for kids. A second full bathroom with a stand-up shower completes the upper level. Step outside to the fully fenced backyard, which offers ocean views, a large patio, a fire pit with complimentary wood, and a BBQ. Explore the rocky shoreline, try beachcombing at low tide, or simply relax and take in the sights and sounds of the water. On one side of the property, there is a campground, and on the other side, a fishery. Beach lovers will be in paradise. Petit-Cap Beach is less than 5 minutes away, the Petit-Cap Wharf beach is just 2 minutes up the road, and the renowned Aboiteau Beach is only 10 minutes by car. Guest access Guests will enjoy exclusive access to the entire residence. Other things to note - Regular lawn maintenance may take place during your stay. If this presents any concern, feel free to reach out in advance. - A fishery is located on one side of the property, and from time to time, you may notice a smell similar to campfire smoke. It’s not unpleasant and does not have a fishy odour. On the other side, trailers on vacant land are owned by a local family. - The cottage is located at the end of a 1,200-foot dirt driveway, which can be muddy or bumpy at times. We maintain it regularly, but please note that we do not own the driveway. - Please do not walk on neighbouring properties. If you'd like a long beach walk, we recommend visiting one of the nearby public beaches. - This countryside cottage is near water and woods, so you may encounter typical outdoor insects, including mosquitoes, which can be more active at certain times of the year. Occasionally, a few insects may find their way indoors depending on the weather and season.
