Traditional Shepherds hut and wood fired hot tub

Flaxlands Farm Shepherd’s Hut and wood fired hot tub is set in its own three acres of meadow and woodland on a working farm in the rolling countryside of Leicestershire. It’s very unique and we think it’s beautiful with its hammocks in the woods,& large pond ….did we mention the gorgeous wood fired hot tub!❤️ Only one shepherds hut is located in the field so you have total privacy The space The Shepherds Hut has one comfortable double bed (bedding & towels provided), An indoor log burning stove ( logs provided) A compact kitchen area with double gas hob burner, cold water sink with pans, kettle, crockery and cutlery. There is a small table and chairs and an easy chair to relax in. There is a lovely and warm gas fired shower and chemical toilet located right next to the shepherds hut, no sharing here… it’s for your sole use. The shepherds hut is beautifully lit in the evening with romantic battery powered candles and large torches so you won’t be left in the dark! There is no electricity in the shepherds hut but it is available in our farm office where you are welcome to charge your phones, iPads etc along with the use of a fridge and freezer if required Guest access Guests are in a 3 acre field, wood fired hot tub, woodland and pond (no fishing or kayaking) as a natural pond The hot tub will be lovely and warm ready for your arrival Upon arrival we will provide you with your own key fob for our farm electric gate Other things to note Please note that we are a working farm with livestock and machinery, so while our guests are welcome to have free range over the three-acre site please take care when arriving and leaving Over the winter months when the temperature drops well below freezing there may be the odd occasion when the shower is not available due to frozen pipes We will always do our very best to keep it running for guests
