Wildwood Cottage in Elm Valley

This quaint cottage is at the edge of the Elm Valley subdivision in the center of Texas. Originally built in 1985, this space has been a barn, art studio, greenhouse, game room and still has remnants of all these uses. The cottage is colorful, spacious and cozy. It is the perfect place for day dreaming, bird watching, book reading and more. The private porch is especially fun with flowers, grapevines, stained glass, wind chimes and chandeliers. It's the perfect get-away. The space A large bathroom (shower, no bathtub) and a small kitchen (no stove) are the most recent additions. Perfect place to unwind. Board games, puzzles, darts, Ping-Pong and/or pool table available. There are black-out shades in the bedroom. Guest access The cottage and gardens surrounding the cottage are available to explore, along with the oak grove east of the cottage. Other things to note For a treasure trove of interesting local history I would highly recommend a visit to Ft. Chadbourne, which is only 26 miles from here. Ft. Chadbourne was established in 1852 to protect the western frontier. There is a visitor center with an amazing museum filled with thousands of artifacts.
