Vineyard Villa is a 2-bedroom, 1- bathroom cottage built in 1910. It is situated on a 2-acre property, and is separated from the main farmhouse by rows of grapevines. The cottage has recently undergone a complete renovation (including the addition of air conditioning) with attention paid to retaining some of the original charming features of the home. The backyard offers a patio with a propane barbeque, fire pit and seating. Our cottage is in close proximity to the many activities in Sonoma. The cottage is nestled in a producing vineyard on property where a hotel was built in 1870. It was called the ‘Vineyard Villa’ and once housed visitors traveling through the countryside long before Sonoma became the travel destination that it is today. It’s a little piece of history in a uniquely beautiful, peaceful setting where you will enjoy complete privacy. When you arrive, you will truly be stepping back in time. Other things to note Several unique aspects about the Vineyard Villa come to mind. First of all, this is an operational vineyard that actually allows guests access to roam. Guests are encouraged to be free to take a stroll through the rows and rows of beautiful vines and enjoy the fresh country air and views of surrounding hillsides.
