Beautiful Bluewater Waterfront Cottage

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful lakefront cottage. Enjoy sunning on the massive front deck overlooking the majestic waters of Lake Erie. Walk down the Bluewater Parkway to local amenities like Selkirk Provincial Park and Waterfront Way. Shallow sandy/rocky lakebed extending hundreds of meters from the shoreline. Good for swimming or wading with a cool beverage. Don’t miss out on this charming 3 bedroom cottage. Very clean and well maintained. The space Step onto the large deck overlooking the endless horizon of the lake. Then step through the front door and be transported to a laid back, beachside, coastal cottage vibe. The main living area is an open concept living and kitchen area with island/ breakfast bar, fireplace, cozy couches all overlooking the lake. Sit back and enjoy looking out at the ever changing moods of the lake. Step off your front deck to the shoreline and you’ll find direct access to the water for swimming and launching our cottage kayaks. There is sandy/Rocky beach access 2-minute walk down the street perfect kids to play. Relax around the gas fireplace on the deck on cozy oversized patio chairs and couches while looking up at the stars, watching the long point lighthouse or passing ships all while listening to the lapping shoreline. There is a fire pit right at the waters edge perfect for watching the stars in this very low light polluted area and roasting marshmallows. The lake access is on the other side of Bluewater Parkway, a low speed, low trafficked road. The three private bedrooms are all located on the north facing wall for maximum privacy and keeping cool. There is heating, air conditioning and overhead fans throughout. High speed wifi is also included! This is a nice, well maintained, coastal gem of a cottage. Guest access The area across the cottage in front of the lake can be used by guests including the fire-pit however please be considerate as the shoreline is a shared with the neighbours. Other things to note This cottage is in a quiet peaceful neighbourhood and is ideal for guests looking to relax in this peaceful setting. Please no outdoor music or loud noise after 10pm. For 2-4 day stays, please bring your own towels, sheets and pillow cases. We will supply the pillows and comforters Bring water shoes to use the lake. Your welcome to use the kayaks which are stored under the lean to however know that Lake Erie can get wavy really quickly so it’s not recommended for kids or inexperienced swimmers and life jackets are a must. Plan to go out only during calm and flat seas only. Pets are welcome but please clean up after them before you leave. One propane tank will be provided for the BBQ and Gas fireplace for 2-3 day stays. For weekly stays, 2 tanks will be included. If you would prefer to have a wood campfire, Please bring your own wood (can be purchased in the area) Cottage has a cistern and septic. We ask that you conserve water where possible and only flush toliet paper down the toliet. Absolutely No oil/geese down the drain, chemicals or food waste. Two parking spaces are included in your stay with no additional parking available so you will need to carpool with a larger group. At checkout, please put all your garbage and recycling in clear bags under the sink in the shed. Please turn off the AC when not in use. The cottage gets a very good breeze off the lake with the windows open! Please leave the cottage how you found it. No events, parties or excessive noise. Kindly be respectful of the neighbours :-)
