Items available for rent: Private pavilions, private docks, kayaks, paddle boards, tubes The space The cottages at The Riv are simple and peaceful. Enjoy the quiet surroundings as well as the beauty of and serenity of the Texas hill country. Our river access is one of the most beautiful spots you've ever seen. The Riv Resort is approximately 45 mins from Concan. 30 mins from the Frio River. 5 mins south of Camp Wood. Sits on an exclusive section of the Nueces River. Answers to frequently asked questions: -We do not allow pets -The Riv is located 5 minutes south of Camp Wood, Texas. -Cottages were built in 2022 -Sleeping arrangements: 3 bedrooms (room 1: queen bed, room 2: full bed, room 3: full bed) -The kitchen is stocked with kitchenware (there is not a dish washing machine). -Refrigerator and freezer (there is not an ice maker) -Each cabin has a propane bbq and a wood bbq on the patio. -Must be 21 years old to reserve and an adult must be present during the rental period. -MAXIMUM of 6 tenants per cottage. -Only tenants of The Riv are allowed on the property and have access to the river. -Fire pits are on site. Firewood can be purchased from us as you request it. -The cottages are a two minute drive through the resort, or a five minute walk, to the river. We provide a golf cart for easy transport. -You can rent kayaks, paddle boards , and tubes from us, as long as we have timely notice (a few days). First come first served, since we have limited amounts. -You can reserve one of our three riverfront pavilions or one of our two private docks, as long as we have timely notice (a few days). When reserving, you can specify which pavilion or dock you want, or one will be assigned. -You can rent the entire resort (6 cabins, 2 lodges, 2 cottages) for full privacy or you can rent them individually. Contact us if you would like to add more than one building. Guest access -River access is a short walk away. -There is a loading and unloading section for kayaks, paddle boards, and tubes. -River access is for the tenants of each cabin only. -We have a large field next to the basketball and pickleball courts for you to enjoy and a shady, grassy between the pavilions and private docks. Other things to note River activities include: Kayaking , paddle boarding, tubing, swimming, snorkeling, fishing, basketball, and pickleball. It is recommended to bring your own snorkeling equipment since the water is so clear!
