Our country house (1 hour and 45 minutes from the western outskirts of Paris) is ideal for a getaway in the countryside. Comfortable, cozy and kid-friendly, it offers magnificent 180-degree views of the hills of Perche. It's perfectly placed for discovering the region (pretty villages, forests, hiking trails, small producers, etc.). The space 🏡 Our 2,150 sq. ft. farmhouse has been renovated and carefully furnished. It has a large garden and a furnished terrace. 🐮 The house is in absolute quiet (no neighbors except the cows!), but located a 15-minute walk from a lively village (shops, good restaurant, etc.) Everything is provided for your comfort: 🌟 Linens are provided and the beds are made upon your arrival 👶 Baby equipment available on site upon request (baby bed, bathtub, BabyBjörn bouncer, highchair, games and books) 🌡️ The ground floor of the house stays cool, even in very hot weather. 🔥 Central heating + wood for the stove provided upon request On the ground floor, the house consists of a large living room (100 m²) with: 🍳 Equipped open kitchen (dishwasher, oven, microwave, etc.) and Nespresso + filter coffee machines 🍽️ Dining room with a beautiful table for 8 guests, 🪵 Cozy living room (with wood-burning stove, speakers, TV, etc.) + office area 🎲 Game room (many board games, books and games, comic book corner, etc.) 🛀 Bathroom not renovated but functional (very large bathtub and double sink) Upstairs: 🛌 1 large master suite with 160 cm double bed 🚿 1 large shower room with double sink and toilet 🛏️ 2 other large bedrooms with double bed All bedrooms are separate, and the bedding is new and comfortable. Outside: 🌞 Garden furniture, deckchairs 🪴Large, lit and sheltered terrace with dining table for 6 🍖 Barbecue (charcoal not included) and fire pit 🎯Mölkky, darts, hammock... Important points to note This is our weekend home. We want to rent it to respectful people who take care of the place 🚭 Non-smoking house 🐶 Small dogs may be allowed upon request, but great care is required. 🚽 Septic tank: Do not flush anything in the toilet. 🎉 No parties, bachelor parties or other events! 🤓 The number of guests listed at booking must be respected. 🧹Housekeeping included (additional charges may apply if longer work by the cleaning company is required). 🌡️ Heating included for the winter months for standard use (to be turned down on departure). 🌿 The village: Ceton is a lively village with shops (butcher, bakery, grocery store, etc.), a good restaurant (MaisonDames), a swimming pool, a pond, a children's playground and a pharmacy. The village is a 15-minute walk away, with several walking paths. 🌲The surrounding area: - Many hikes and walks (including from the house). Horse farms - Forests - Small producers and markets: goat farm, cideries, organic vegetables, etc. - Several recreational areas (Margon, La Ferté-Bernard, etc.) 15 minutes away with a swimming area, pedal boats, refreshment stand, children's games, etc. - The pretty towns of Nogent-le-Rotrou and La Ferté-Bernard, with their shops and markets, are 15 minutes away. - Many villages and chateaux to visit (Montmirail, Bellême, Saint-Cyr-la-Rosière, etc.) Guest access You will have access to the entire house and will be able to use what is on site, provided you leave everything as it is. Please note: Accommodation not accessible for people with reduced mobility Other things to note -There is (voluntarily) no wifi to disconnect but 4G/5G works perfectly (remote work ok in connection sharing) - Heating for the winter months is included in the nightly rate for standard use (central heating, to be turned down upon checkout). - The house has been recently renovated and is well maintained, but it is still a country house. - points to note for children: unsecured stairs, the living room stove, the barbed wire garden fences, and the hammock if used
