Our lovely country house (1 hour 45 minutes from the outskirts of Paris) is ideal for a getaway in the countryside. Comfortable and kid-friendly, it offers a magnificent 180-degree view of the Perche hills. It is ideally located for exploring the region (charming villages, hiking trails, small-scale producers, etc.). The space 🏡 Our 200 m² farmhouse has been carefully renovated and furnished. It has a large garden and an equipped terrace. 🐮The house is absolutely quiet (no neighbors except the cows!), but located a 15-minute walk from a lively village (shops, restaurant, etc.) Everything is provided for your comfort: 🌟 Linens are provided and the beds are made upon your arrival 👶 Baby equipment available on site upon request (baby bed, bathtub, BabyBjorn baby carrier, Combelle highchair, lots of games and books) 🌡️ The ground floor of the house stays ultra cool, even in very hot weather 🔥 Wood for the stove on request On the ground floor, the house consists of a large living room (100 m2) with: 🍳 equipped open-plan kitchen (dishwasher, oven, microwave, etc.) and Nespresso coffee machine (capsules not provided) 🍽️ dining room with a large table for 8 guests, 🪵 cozy living room (with wood-burning stove, speakers, TV, etc.) + office area 🎲 reading room and playroom (board games, books, toys...) 🛀 Functional bathroom (large bathtub and double sink) Upstairs: 🛌1 large master suite with 160cm double bed 🚿 1 shower room with double sink and toilet 🛏️ 2 other large bedrooms with double bed All the bedrooms are independent, and the bedding is new Outside: 🌞 Garden furniture, deckchairs 🪴Large, well-lit and sheltered terrace with table 🍖 Barbecue (charcoal not included) and brazier 🎯Molki, darts, hammock, swing... Important points to note This is our weekend home. We want to rent it to respectful people who take care of the place 🚭 Non-smoking house 🐶 Unfortunately, no pets allowed 🚽 Septic tank: Do not throw anything into the toilet 🎉 No parties, bachelor parties, or other events 🤓The number of guests specified at the time of booking must be respected 🧹 Cleaning included (additional costs may be applied if a longer service is required). 🌡️ Heating included for the winter months with standard use (to be lowered on departure). 🌿The village: Ceton has shops (butcher, bakery, grocery store, etc.), a good restaurant (MaisonDames), a swimming pool, a pond, children's playground, and a pharmacy. The village is within a 15-minute walk. 🌲The surrounding area: - many hikes and walks (including from the house) - Small producers: goat farm, cider houses, organic vegetables... - Several recreational areas (Margon, La Ferté Bernard, etc.) 15 minutes away with a swimming area, pedal boats, refreshment stand, children's games, etc. - The pretty towns of Nogent-le-Rotrou and La Ferté-Bernard and their shops and markets are also 15 minutes away - many beautiful villages & castles (Montmirail, Bellême, Saint-Cyr-la-Rosière, etc.), forests nearby Guest access You will have access to the entire house and will be able to use the items that are on site. We ask that you take care of the place and leave things as you found them. Warning: Non-accessible accommodation for people with reduced mobility Other things to note -There is (voluntarily) no wifi to disconnect but 4G/5G work perfectly (remote work ok in connection sharing) - Heating for the winter months is included in the price of the night with standard use (central heating, to be lowered upon departure). - the house has been recently remodeled and is well maintained, but it remains a country home. Despite the great attention paid to cleaning, you may come across a cobweb! - Important points to note for children: unsecured stairs, the living room stove, the barbed-wire garden fences, the swing, and the hammock if used
