Situated on the lower floor of the modern townhouse we built, the apt is furnished with vintage furniture & art and commissioned studio furniture. You'll be across from a park, near subway lines and some of the best shopping, dining and theater in NY. The apartment has a strict no-smoking policy, and yes the terrace is considered part of the apartment The space The apartment is remarkably spacious and quiet--a true luxury in downtown New York. In the living room, floor to ceiling windows afford spectacular people watching from morning to night. The outdoor terrace is a beautiful, private setting for al fresco dining. The bedrooms, by being locating in the rear of the apartment, are well-insulated from street noise. Each of the beds have brand new Casper mattresses and bedding. The shower in the master bathroom features Dornbracht shower controls and shower head as well as river stone floor tile. The apartment is family friendly--should you need a highchair, pack n play, stroller or kids toys and books, just ask in advance. Guest access You will be given a passcode for easy entry. Other things to note The building was built with significant green technologies so your stay in New York will have a relatively small carbon footprint.
