I love where I live and I am looking forward to sharing my house with you. Whoever you are, whoever you love, you are welcome here. The space Not wheelchair accessible due to stairs. Guest access Backyard patio. Free parking space available. Shared kitchen During your stay You will mostly be on your own; I will always be available via the airbnb platform and you can contact me if you need assistance or have questions. Other things to note House Information I am fully vaccinated and I expect my guests to also be fully vaccinated. New to airbnb? Show ID at check-in Front Door Lock Code: I will be here to greet you when you arrive. During your orientation, I will provide you with your personal entry code. Push only the lock button when you leave. WiFi: provided upon check in. Main Bathroom:  Leave door open when not in use to allow Gizmo access to food and water.  Wipe glass and chrome with one of the towels I provide after each use; dry off the low corner of the bench so that the shower is ready for the next person.  Open the glass door to the inside so that it will drip on the shower floor.  Hang towels on the drying rack, rather than in your room.  There is a small bathroom next to the kitchen Kitchen Tour  Plastic wrap & baggies  Salt, pepper, butter, olive oil  Pots, pans and lids  Dishes and cutlery  Knives, cutting boards, blender  Fridge – let me know if you will need space  Washing dishes: Because it take a lot of water to get hot water to the kitchen, either leave your dishes in the sink and I will wash them when I wash mine, or save up dirty dishes so you can do a load all at once.  Coffee and tea: Let me know if you would like coffee in the morning and I will put on a pot.  Water filtration  Let me know if you plan to use the Bbq. There are a few things I will need to show you. Garbage and Recycling  Hamilton recycling is complicated. When in doubt leave it out on the counter. Rosie  Do not feed Rosie. She can have her treats, just not too many. She must obey a command (sit, down . . .) before receiving each treat. Your pet  Your pet must be fully house trained  There is a $15 per day pet fee; additional pets will be $5.00 per day. An extra bed cover will be provided.  When left unattended, dog sitting is an additional $20 per day. I do enjoy dog sitting and there are a variety of trails nearby where I walk my dog.  Please pick up after your pet. Parking  There is not a lot of parking on my street, and I do not wish to inconvenience my neighbours, so please park in the driveway. We will need to communicate our schedules so that nobody gets blocked in the driveway. Visitors  Get permission before inviting a visitor. An overnight visitor will be charged the 2nd person fee of $30 per night. Maijuana and Alcohol:  Limited use permitted. Smoke outside only. Please use the ashtray. Laundry:  Let me know if you need to use the laundry machines during your stay. We will need to schedule your time, and I will want to set it up for you.  Drier is available weekdays from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM and 24/7 weekends. Questions? Concerns? I will always have my phone with me and access to airbnb messages.  My aim is to accommodate your needs as best I can and to make your stay comfortable. Your aim is to be the best guest ever. If you need to stay later, pre-arrange a time with me.  Turn out lights when not in use.  Eat meals and messy snacks in the kitchen.  I charge a minimal housekeeping fee. Please clean up after yourself.  Make yourself at home in the house and your room.  FYI: Loose change that you do not want to take with you can be left it in your bedroom and I will collect it in support of the Stephen Lewis Foundation, Grandmothers to Grandmothers Campaign which supports the African Grandmothers left to raise the generation of AIDs orphaned children.
