Please contact us about new long term stay discounts! Welcome to our studio in the heart of Hyde Park! The casita (Spanish for "little house") has its own private fenced yard and parking. You can walk to Hyde Park Village, the Triangle or North Loop and it is minutes to downtown and UT by car. The space Our private studio offers convenient access to everything you want to do in Austin. It is small (approximately 250 square feet, like a small hotel room) but what it lacks in size, it makes up for with charm (and everything you need for a great stay). The casita includes a private fenced yard with off-street parking and a private entrance. Also included are WiFi, and smart TV (no cable, but Netflix account pre logged in.) The studio has a brand new Queen sized bed. Guests with children are welcome to bring an air mattress for no additional charge, but space is tight with a mattress on the floor. Due to its limited size, we DO NOT recommend the Casita for 4 full-sized adults. It is perfect for a couple or small family. The kitchenette includes a mini fridge and microwave and all of the windows have window coverings for privacy. As we are located in the middle of a historic residential community (and love our neighbors), keeping outdoor noise down is critical. Enjoy the deck and private yard, but if you're a fan of blaring music and doing beer bongs, you're in the wrong place. Property is only available on a long term (month-to-month) basis. The studio is located near several bus stops in a safe neighborhood that is very safe to walk in. Thanks for checking us out! Other things to note DISCLAIMER: The average price for a hotel in Austin is $200+/night. Our average is $80/night. We try to keep a simple, clean, and affordable accommodation that we regularly host friends/family in. What this means is: -If you are looking for luxury linens, housekeeping services, and an in-room-cappucino machine, please look elsewhere. -We use a cleanings service that provides/cleans the linens daily, but do not stock extra. If you need extra pillows, blankets, or more than 2 towels, please bring your own with you. Unfortunately we do not have extras. -Please communicate. If you have a question, please ask.
