The Hideaway

Located in the heart of the Rossendale Valley, RHC offer the ideal spot for guests to enjoy the Lancashire countryside, offering a relaxing retreat for all guests who enjoy a bit of rural living. Ideal for businesspersons travelling to Burnley, who wish to self-cater. Beautiful outdoor spaces to BBQ and star gaze are available for all guests to enjoy. Excellent friendly staff, on hand to help, to provide breakfast. Free high-speed Wi-Fi and free parking are offered. Eco Shower The space The Hideaway is perfect romantic get away for couples of all ages. Self contained with a kitchenette hot plate, microwave, toaster & kettle and refrigerator. With an ensuite shower room. With views across the valley and a completely private garden with hammock and patio set for al fresco dining. This lodge can accommodate pets. Please bring their bed or basket. Guest access The Lodge is on a 15-acre site and all areas are available for guests to enjoy. There is a young nature trail with benches for guests to sit on and take in the beautiful surrounding nature. On site there is a lovely communal 'Island' accessed by a charming wooden bridge over a brook. The Island, with weeping willows around its border, is a great place to unwind and appreciate the tranquillity that the area has to offer. It has a fire pit and BBQ area by the stream for all guests to use free of charge. We also have a large games room equipped with a pool table, table tennis, darts, TV lounge area with a large selection of DVD's, board games. Perfect hang out spot for those rainy days. The Hayshed Licensed Cafe Bar serves food and drinks from morning through to the evening, where you can also purchase logs and BBQ’s. Guests are welcome to use all areas of the site, including the barbecue area, nature trail and the exclusive Hayshed Cafe Bar. During your stay Our place has a relaxed and friendly vibe. All the cottages are set around a courtyard, converted from stables. As well as this, our on site licensed cafe bar serves breakfasts and snacks throughout the day, for all guests staying. Our friendly staff & owners enjoy meeting guests and engaging with them and helping with their needs, from forgotten items or, anything else they may require to help them enjoy their visit. A beautiful fire pit and bbq is available for guests to enjoy some al fresco dining. A lovely terrace known as the Lily Pond make the idea spot for Al Fresco dining and enjoying a sundowner or two. We also have a hot tub available for private hire for a minimum of 2 days (Subject to availability and charges apply). Families, couples and solo guests are all equally welcome. Some of our accommodations are Dog Friendly but not all. Please call to check which accommodation is Dog Friendly (Dog charges will apply). Other things to note Highchair and travel cot are available upon request (free of charge) Sadly, pets are not permitted in Stable. We also offer attractive surroundings with communal picnic space and BBQ area, and a large, secure car park. We have a variety of walks/hikes/ bike rides directly from our site- please ask and we will be delighted to share these with you.
