A bright small double room (4' bed) with garden views, use of shared bathroom, in village house in quiet location, within walking distance of country pubs, restaurants and local grocery shops. Rural walks from the door on North Downs Way, walking routes and maps available. Rail to London 36 minutes, Bluewater 15 minutes drive, Kent coast 45 minute. Continental breakfast provided (cereals, milk, bread, toaster, spreads) can be taken in sunny farmhouse-style kitchen or garden. The space You'll be in the cosy private bedroom at the back of the house with views of the courtyard and garden, shared bathroom in a quiet detached house, use of kitchen for breakfast and light meals, use of well stocked library. You are welcome to use quiet garden and courtyard (furniture provided). Guest access You'll be in the private comfortable, smaller double bedroom (4' bed) and have use of the large shared bathroom, the large farmhouse style kitchen, well appointed library and outdoor spaces are shared with the owner, and at times, other guests. During your stay Either Paul or I will welcome you on arrival, if you need help with anything when we’re not around we can be contacted by mobile. Other things to note Meopham is a dark sky village with very little street lighting, enjoy starry skies on clear nights but remember to take a torch if you intend to walk back after dark. If you're lucky, you may even hear the hoot our local Meopham owl 🦉😊. We now offer the option for a wood fired pizza dinner on Wednesday evenings, ask for details upon check in 😊
