Goodland is a small village, located 5 miles from the city of Marco Island. Our cottage is situated on one of the most spectacular pieces of land on the island. Our property view is not visible from any other location. Our property sits looking out over the Goodland Bay. No direct water view from the cottage. Guests have access to the entire vast waterfront property, fishing pier, boat dockage, kayak launch, kayaks, and bicycle The space Newly remodeled spacious 1 bedroom 1 bathroom. Marble floors, accented with granite countertops. The cottage is equipped with all your basic needs for your stay. Cooking utensils, coffee machine, towels and linens. California King bed in the bedroom, with a television. Living room is suited with a beautiful living room set, large screen t.v., and dining area, all as one. It holds a lovely spacious open floor plan. This cottage has a private roadside sitting porch, with comfortable patio furnishings. Come and experience our beautiful cottage in Goodland. A sleepy historic fishing village, of Goodland. Although this unit doesn’t offer a direct view from inside, you can still enjoy the sunrise over the Everglades with your morning cup of coffee, and the magical colors of the evening sky. We have ample parking for your vehicle and boat trailer, also dockage available for your vessel, if you wish to bring your own, and utilize the local Goodland boat ramp. If weather is ever a concern for you, it is recommended to purchase travel protection for your trip. *Note* Late June through September is our “off season”. 3 out of 4 restaurants are closed, as well as our local museum and fresh fish market. Fortunately Marco Island is a quick drive away to find all of your vacation needs! We do not have bicycles available during the months of June- September Guest access Guests are welcome to all of the space within and around the cottage. Fishing Pier, dockage, trailer parking, kayaks, kayak launch, bikes and all seating areas along the waters edge. Laundry facility is located in our #208 building, located halfway down the driveway on the right. Next to unit #208 1/2. Other things to note If booking within the months of July, August, September, and Early October, the island of Goodland becomes very very quiet. The 3 out of the 4 local restaurants on Goodland close during those months. The Crabby Lady Restaurant stays open through the summer- check hours online. Within few minute drive, Marco Island is open and busy all summer long. Which you may very much enjoy- the real solitude of it all. I know I appreciate it.
