We are nestled between Maranacook Lake & Torsey Pond to take a swim or kayak. Enjoy nearby hiking trails. A great restaurant is on the lake close by, and others are a short drive away. We would love to be your hosts Thursday thru Sunday. Other arrangements may be honored upon request. We are still adding finishing touches, so please bear with us. The room has a king size bed, work station, two love seats, large dresser, full closet, and smart TV. We provide a Keurig coffee maker, a selection of coffees & teas, refrigerator, and microwave. You will have a private bathroom with full shower, jetted tub, and linen closet with extra bath and beach towels. You have an entrance to your room from the driveway and a door going out to our long porch of cozy Adirondack chairs. You are welcome to use our grill and outdoor table and chairs. We are located in a quiet, rural town just 11 miles from Augusta. There is a small beach on Maranacook Lake for a refreshing swim less than a mile away. Torsey Pond is a mile away in the other direction for a quiet kayak to enjoy the Loons. There is a shop for carry-out just 4 doors down, and The Weathervane Restaurant & Lounge is a short walk or drive down to the lake. Many other dining options are a quick drive away. Parking is located right outside the entrance to your room. There are sidewalks to enjoy a walk down to the lake. Hiking trails are located all around the area.
