The space Oorgenoeg in Langebaan is a smallholding on the outskirts of Langebaan in Longacres Equestrian Estate. Hooggenoeg is situated at the back of the property, behind the main house, above our horse shelter overlooking the horses among the trees. Our property is situated next to a greenbelt - this creates a deep sense of peace and quiet - especially the view from the double bed overlooking the bluegum trees. Besides the perfect placement of the double bed there is an open plan victorian bath as well as a kitchenette fitted with everything you'll need. Outside on the covered patio is a private wood-fired hot tub for the exclusive use of guests - enjoying nature in all its glory - perfect for romantic getaways and honeymoons. For the nature lover this will feel like paradise - dogs, cats, horses, geese, chickens and rooster all live on the smallholding - not to mention the eagles and owls that live in the trees. When visiting Oorgenoeg, guests are invited to contact the host to book a monochord sound journey. The monochord is an ancient instrument used for thousands of years to facilitate healing. This is a rare and unique experience offered in the comfort of the owners studio at Oorgenoeg . Guest access The entire space is for the exclusive use of our guests. Other things to note At Oorgenoeg we love our animals - the owner, Nadea, is a certified animal communicator and healer. Guests should be aware that we do have dogs and cats on the property and while they primarily stay at the main house some of them do visit the guest from time to time - and remember that this is a small farm & we do have roosters.
