Boone Cocoon , wood fired sauna upgrade available

Our home is nestled amongst the trees and Rhodos just one minute away from downtown Boone in a quiet, green neighborhood. This studio apartment attached to our home offers you private living space with private entrance and a outdoor sitting deck. Amenities include a full kitchenette with stove, fridge and microwave and stocked with coffee and tea. Soak in the full bath or ask us about our wood fired sauna for the complete Mountain experience. We are available as you need us and welcome all! The space This studio sleeps 2 and offers one queen bed, however, if you have a need for additional sleeping space, you may also rent the wood fired sauna with sleeping loft for those who are able to climb the vintage ladder to access the loft bed (not recommended for young children under 12). Please ask about rates for the loft bed in the sauna / or the sauna itself. We also offer an experiential upgrade to your stay if you want to bask in a traditional Finnish wood fired sauna complete with cold plunge pool. Please contact us and we will send you more details on the sauna rental and rates. You may book the sauna as a sleeping space or just to partake in the sauna experience. If you desire to book the sauna during your stay , we will light the fire to have it toasty hot for your sweat. There is a Primo Water dispenser for cold hydration or a hot cup of peppermint tea. Afterwards, kick back in your robe to enjoy a book, your favorite music or just the sound of nature on the privacy deck complete with outdoor shower. Or if the winter snow is chilling your bones, sit inside the cozy sauna lounge and melt your tension away. We will gladly walk you through a traditional Finnish ritual and what to expect. The Cocoon is set up in the style of a tiny space, offering a cozy Scandinavian meets Blue Ridge Mtn. feel. Fresh roasted coffee beans with French press or drip maker with a large variety of Organic teas and honey to make for a cozy morning Cocoon experience. You may choose to spend your evenings out at one of the fabulous Downtown Boone or Blowing Rock restaurants or dine in our full kitchen while listening to your favorite music on our Bose Bluetooth speaker. You will have the amenities of Downtown with a 20 minute walk, 5 minute bike ride or a quick flash by car. We are within quick walking distance to Appalachian Mountain Brewery, The Local Lion coffee and handcrafted doughnuts, Stickboy Bakery with amazing European baked loaves and pastries, and the Holmes Convocation Center. If ASU is your destination, we are conveniently located to campus and offer free parking for your campus events. The Greenway is within biking distance for a lovely stroll along the River. Guest access You will have access to a front porch with swing or you may enjoy access to the privacy deck that is just steps away from your room. We recommend spending morning coffee or summer evenings on the deck listening to the birds. Grill out on the deck if an evening in appeals to you. The deck, complete with a cold plunge, adjoins the Wood fired sauna which has a bluetooth speaker and ambiance lighting and a primo water dispenser for your convenience. Other things to note I welcome people from every background and welcome diversity. I send out a particularly warm invite to female solo travelers, artists and nature lovers.
