The Farmhouse on Hummingbird Hill

Welcome to The Farmhouse on Hummingbird Hill! You will enjoy a private 100+ year old farmhouse nestled between the hills on a secluded property in the country full of wildlife. We are located 35 minutes from Waco and just 10 minutes from Clifton, which offers downtown shopping, restaurants and a movie theater. From relaxing in the hammock under the 300+ year old live oak to taking a dip in the “cowboy dipping pool” or cooking s’mores around a fire pit you will also find 15 acres to explore. The space This recently renovated 732sf modern farmhouse is furnished with a comfy queen bed, sofa bed and air mattress for snoozing. It also has a separate living room featuring a TV with WiFi streaming capabilities or DVD movies and “kitchen” that comes equipped as a kitchenette with dining table, mid size refrigerator/freezer, standard sink, toaster, toaster oven, hot plate, hot water kettle and blender. Dishes, utensils, glasses, pots, pans and pitchers are available. Outside you will also find a propane grill with utensils. ***Pets, including SERVICE animals are NOT allowed on the property due to severe family pet dander allergies. NO EXCEPTIONS. Guest access You will enter our property through a keypad gate and have 15 acres to explore as outlined in the guestbook and map posted within the property pictures. Other things to note —“Cowboy Dipping Pool” is ONLY available upon request for a $40 filling charge. This dip pool is a converted windmill water trough and is filled upon request and immediately drained and cleaned upon departure OR within 2 days, which ever comes first. —Fire Pit will be available weather/burn ban permitting. Wood bundles that include lighter fluid are $25/ea upon request. We will normally be available to start the fire as needed. ***Please read HOUSE RULES prior to booking. ***Pets, including SERVICE animals are NOT allowed on the property due to severe family pet dander allergies.
