Peaceful Townhouse in the Village

Welcome to Beautiful Elk Rapids! Enjoy your days on the water of several nearby lakes, biking, hiking, or shopping in our quaint village. Explore a little farther and take in the wineries, Sleeping Bear Sand Dunes, Mackinac Island, and all that beautiful Northern Michigan offers. In the evenings, grill out, walk to one of several nearby restaurants, or just order takeout while you rest and relax at our newly furnished townhouse. Both bedrooms and bathroom are upstairs. The space The unit is one side of a duplex and the other side is a long term renter. It is a quiet neighborhood in the summer and many of the neighbors are our friends or acquaintances. In the fall, if you have the windows open, you may hear the occasional Friday night football game. Elk Rapids schools are just a couple blocks away with playgrounds and a track for use when not in use by the school. The bedrooms and bathroom are both upstairs. There is no A/C at this time, but we do provide cooling fans and regular fans for the hottest summer nights. Room darkening shades also make a big difference. The Village of Elk Rapids permits two cars or (regular) trucks in the driveway for the short term licensing, so please let us know if you have need for more parking. Guest access On the day of arrival, you will receive the access code for the key box. Guests may use the back yard directly behind the unit. The shed directly behind the unit has bikes for your use, as well as a couple yard games and beach chairs w/ umbrella. Please return whatever you use. The Village of Elk Rapids does not allow fire pits in short term rentals, so no fire making anywhere on the property please.
