Cosy 'Pumpkin Cottage' in rural village setting

This small, cosy mid-terraced cottage is a charming retreat on a quiet lane in the pretty village of Aberford. With it's warm and inviting atmosphere, it's the perfect location for walks in the countryside, good location for homeworkers, stopover for travellers or base for visiting nearby Leeds or York. You will have all the equipment you need for a comfortable and relaxing stay, including a log burner and wood. Well-behaved pets are welcome. Boost your wellbeing with some me/us/family time. The space Pumpkin Cottage is on a quiet lane off the main street of the village and has a dedicated off-road parking space. The ground floor comprises a lounge containing a log burner and desk workspace and a well-equipped kitchen with a tall fridge/freezer, washer/dryer and Nespresso coffee machine. Stairs lead up to two bedrooms. A stairgate is fitted at the top of the stairs and in addition, one can be installed at the bottom for children/pets on request. Please note: The stairs are quite steep, so not recommended for those with mobility problems. Upstairs, the largest bedroom has a comfortable king sized bed, wardrobe, dressing table and stool and TV. The small bedroom has a single bed and leads directly into a compact but well-equipped bathroom (shower only). NB In order to get to the bathroom, guests would need to pass through the single room. There is a small patio area outside the front of the cottage with a bench where you could sit to have a nice brew and watch the world go by. Guest access Guests have use of the entire cottage. There is a dedicated parking space for one car at the side of the cottages and space for more free parking along the lane. Please note that the stairs are relatively steep. Not recommended if you are unsteady on your feet, or have mobility issues. Other things to note The cottage is equipped with everything required for a secure and comfortable stay including towels and bed linen, wifi, TVs in the living room and main bedroom, everything you need for the log burner, washer/dryer, iron and ironing board, hairdryer and tongs, tea/coffee making facilities including a Nespresso coffee machine. Please note: access to the bathroom is via the single bedroom. Please let us know if you are travelling with babies, or children so we can accommodate their needs in advance (eg travel cot, highchair, baby gate, etc). All pet guests will be provided with a bed, bowl and dog treats. Plus, the local area is great for walkies!
