Quiet Escape in Town
This two-bedroom guesthouse is located in a quiet neighborhood close to historical downtown Silver City. It’s a great home base for exploring Silver City’s wonderful art scene and the majestic Gila Wilderness. Near Silva Creek Botanical Garden and Virginia St Park. Less than a mile from Silver City's historical downtown. Tastefully decorated with hint of the Southwest. Fully stocked modern kitchen. Comfortable sitting room, great for conversation or curling up with a good book. There is no TV but there is a small lending library (very small, a few books on a shelf really) and there are board games. You are welcome to enjoy the multiple outdoor seating areas complete with beautiful flowering native plants and a bbq grill. Also, for your enjoyment, a Keurig and coffee pods or electric kettle and tea assortment. Off-street parking You'll be sharing a big fenced yard with a cat, Isis (not a terrorist, answers to 'Kitty') and me but the amount of interaction we share is up to you. I'm happy to share recommendations, etc., or not. Located at the end of a quiet residential street surrounded by big elms and cottonwoods. Like being in the country, but still close to the downtown action. The guesthouse is attached to a working artist studio. I have my own entrance but because the spaces are only separated by an interior wall with a door in it, you may hear me rustling around in there when I’m working. When I have guests, I limit my studio hours to between 10am-6pm and I do my best to be as quiet and unobtrusive as I can. I always have headphones in so you won’t disturb me at all. Please, let me know if I this does not work for you for any reason. I’m sure we can find a solution that suits us all.
