Quiet double bedroom in detached family home

You are welcome to stay in our family home, sharing with me and my husband and our collie dog. This is a bedroom with a double bed looking out over the garden. Other rooms are available (see details below), so other guests may be staying and sharing the bathroom and shower room.. A basic breakfast is provided before 10am. The house is no smoking throughout. The space We stay in a detached house on the southside of Glasgow, about 4 miles - half an hour by bus - from the centre. There is a family kitchen overlooking the garden to make drinks or microwave snacks in the evening, and you are welcome to sit in the garden to take your breakfast tea! The bedrooms are upstairs, and food is not allowed in the bedrooms though you can take up drinks. There are no tvs in the bedrooms. There is a separate bathroom for guest use, with bath and wc. This is shared with other guests. There is also a shared shower room with power shower, which is for use by guests and the family. Guest access Guests can access the dining kitchen for drinks and snacks before 10am and after 5pm in the evening. You are welcome to sit in the garden and enjoy the birdsong. The kitchen is for hot drinks and snacks that you bring in, which must be eaten downstairs. You can use the microwave and toaster at night and sit in the dining area to read or listen to the radio. The lounge is reserved for our private use. Shoes are taken off before going upstairs, and as it is mainly wooden floors you may want to bring some slippers or grip socks. During your stay We will greet you on arrival and introduce the dog! Check in/out times can be more flexible if possible on the day, but if more than an hour early or late an extra fee is charged of £10 an hour. We are available if you need information or anything else, otherwise it is a help yourself basis. Please let us know when you arrive back in the house in the evening, though the dog usually barks if people are at the door... Other things to note I will need a clear profile picture before I can accept your booking. We have a separate listing for a twin room under airbnb.co.uk/h/backsingleortwinroom if you prefer separate beds. We've a border collie dog that can be lively, and barks when excited especially when you first meet her, but is easy enough to keep separate if you prefer. Towels and basic soaps/shampoo etc are provided. As it is shoes off in the house and wooden floors, you may want to bring slippers or thick socks. We keep our lounge just for our use but you are welcome to sit in the dining kitchen where there is WIFI access. No other visitors are allowed in the house. Smoking is not allowed inside, but is OK in the garden - downwind from the house!
