Guests can enjoy free use of a two-person kayak with immediate loch access. Only One Small, well-behaved dog is welcome. The space Built in 1905, this traditional sandstone flat was originally built to house railway staff during the height of Lochwinnoch’s rail era. Former owners recall large families once living here, giving the property a strong sense of history. While compact by modern standards, the flat is warm, cosy, and genuinely homely, with high ceilings, thick sandstone walls, and original proportions full of character. The living room sits directly opposite a large park, ideal for children to play and perfect for dog-friendly walks. Guest access Guests can check in independently using the lockbox located at the flat entrance in the porch and will have the entire property to themselves for the duration of their stay. Other things to note As of August and September 2025, the roof and chimney have been repaired. Further inspection has shown that the chimney requires additional attention, so the open fire is currently not available until it has been fully rechecked.
