Our cabins are designed to ensure they are the perfect destination for a relaxed peaceful holiday. They are spacious and remote yet accessible, with everything you need to enjoy your holiday. The space Our luxury cabins are located in a remote glen in the Highlands of Scotland. Our farm is one of 2 properties within the 12 mile Glen so are a a beautiful spot to base yourselves while you get immersed in the local nature and tranquillity. They provide a peaceful place to wind down after a day exploring the Highlands of Scotland. We have created a space for you to relax in and have everything you may need on your holiday. They have a fully functioning kitchen - with a fridge including an freezer compartment, a cooker and induction hob, a small dishwasher and a washer dryer installed. The bathroom is spacious with a good powerful shower. In the sitting room we have installed a lovely wood burning stove for you to enjoy on the colder days. There are large patio windows so even if the weather is suboptimal you can still enjoy your beautiful surroundings. We have added a comfortable cocoon sofa bed (double) in the sitting room to allow for different sleeping arrangements. From the sitting room the stairs take you up to the Mezzanine which allows a higher view of the glen from the upper windows. You can lie in bed watching the world go by in peace. There is a super comfy king sized bed with a pull out single bed underneath it and a seating area next to the glass balustrade to enjoy the view. From the sitting area you can access the decked area through the patio doors, here there are a couple of comfortable seats and a table as well as a BBQ for outdoor cooking. To the side of the Cabin is a special Swedish wood fired hot tub (salts can be added) for you to soak in after a day out exploring and a communal Fire Pit to warm yourselves under the dark skies. Guest access The cabins are located over the bridge behind the farm near the old fank which is now our black bee apiary. They are situated in a park which is ring fenced with deer fencing to allow new woodland to flourish. Our cabins have been designed for the comfort of our guests, we want you to be able to relax and lose yourself in your surroundings in a warm and cosy environment. All our cabins have toasty wood burners, hot powerful showers and a mezzanine bedroom for a beautiful view of the Glen and the River Orchy. Come home to relax after a day in the fresh air, enjoy the dark skies at night and sit by our beautiful fire pit and make memories. Little Green Shop On site we have an honesty shop, on arrival you will be given the code to access the shop. In here will be the option of frozen ready meals from Shellfield Farm, our own meat including our own Oxford Sandy and Black pork sausages and bacon, a selection of Beef, Pork and Lamb depending on the time of year (please contact us if there is anything special you would like), our Glenorchy eggs, specially selected Isle of Skye black pudding which is Gluten Free, local Campbells Coffee and a few other bits and pieces. Shellfield Farm Home Cooked Meals We are working with our friends at Shellfield farm to bring you some delicious home cooked meals to your cabins. These meals are produced using the finest Argyll produce and made with love. Other things to note There are no shops or pubs within the Glen. Once you have booked your stay you will will receive an email with Guest Log in details. In here you will find shopping options, restaurants and café options and lots of other useful information.
