Relax with your family and enjoy the quiet town of Pukerua Bay, a lovely holiday destination. Take a 20 minute walk to the beach or a 2 minute drive to explore rock pools at low tide. Stroll across to the grassy reserve at the end of the road for a game of soccer or visit 1 of the 4 play parks in the neighbourhood. The house is located at the start of the iconic Escarpment Track, a challenging 10km scenic tramp to Paekākāriki. Only a 6 minute walk to the train station and a 35 ride to town. The space The upstairs living area is an open plan space with lounge, dining room, kitchen, and breakfast counter. There is also a laundry room with a washer. Upstairs is a bathroom with a shower/bath and three bedrooms. The main bedroom has a queen bed and two seater couch which gets afternoon sun. The other two bedrooms have beds suitable for children; one with a single child beds, and the other a toddler bed. Downstairs is an en suite bathroom with a shower and a bedroom with a double bed, opening out onto a deck and terraced lawns with a small section of native forest below. Off the main bedroom is a second bedroom with separate outside access, also with a double bed. Guest access Guests will have sole use of the whole house but the garage is not available for use. There is a step up to the main front door and internal stairs protected by a baby gate separates the two downstairs bedrooms from the top three. Separate downstairs access is from a short, steep driveway with no stairs. Parking is on the street but one car can fit down the driveway if necessary. Other things to note There is no satellite TV, only FreeTV and a chromecast facility which you can link to your TVNZ+ account using the free wifi. You will find a DVD player which accepts USB and a stack of DVDs for your enjoyment. The train can be heard from the house as the station is only a six minute walk away.
