Hewletts Mill is an historic converted watermill set in 7 acres of beautiful secluded grounds with wonderful gardens near Bruton and the small market town of Castle Cary. 4 King-size en-suite bedrooms (one with extra double sofa bed) 1 double bedroom with own bathroom 1 large landing bed room (with curtain), double sofa bed and en-suite shower room Extensive well tended but informal gardens, tennis court & heated swimming pool. The whole house is available for limited weeks of the year. The space Hewletts Mill is an exceptional house, it is very relaxed, a dog friendly family paradise. Enjoy the beautiful gardens, take long walks around the countryside on a network of local foot paths, play tennis or croquet and chill out by the heated pool, then eat supper cooked in the wood fired pizza oven. In the summer guests can pick fresh produce from vegetable garden and greenhouse. Dining tables seat 14 both indoors and pool-side. The kitchen table seats 10 (with extension leaves added). The kitchen has an Electric Aga, a gas hob and an electric oven. 2 large downstairs TVs with Netflix, Apple TV and Amazon. TV & DVD player in all bedrooms. Bose portable sound system. Electrical power is supplemented by our own waterwheel. Guest access Guests taking the whole house have full use of all areas and facilities. Other things to note Please note that Bedroom 5 is a large (approx 20sq m) curtained off section of the first floor landing with a large double sofa bed (pink, see photos) and en-suite shower room .
