Modernized Mid-Century House Steps from Trails

Welcome to our paradise. Yachats is called the gem of the Oregon coast for a reason! Enjoy comfortable tuft-and-needle mattresses, a down filled West Elm couch, fast wifi, & a kitchen stocked with everything you need to make a gourmet meal. View the ocean from the living room & primary bedroom, as well as a trail through the state forest that starts just outside the front door. Hear the ocean in front & Starr Creek behind, and enjoy being on a quiet dead end with only one other house. The space Our single level, mid-century home has been tastefully updated to preserve the original charm including an abundance of wood paneling, a stone hearth with a wood burning stove, and giant, west-facing windows. One side of the house offers two bedrooms (one with a king sized bed, one with two twins that can be pushed together to make a king) separated by a full bathroom, in the center is the living room and kitchen, and on the garage side is a third bedroom (a trundle daybed able to be configured as a king or two twins), a 3/4 bathroom with stall shower, and laundry/utility room. We've recently added a comfortable deck on to the front of the house. The house backs up to hiking trails through state forest land, Starr Creek runs behind the house, and we're 2 long-ish blocks from the beach (less than 10 minutes walk). You will have access to the whole house, including the garage. Guest access Guests are welcome to use the whole house, though we have some items in the garage. Other things to note You will be renting from us, the real owners who live here part time. We love this house and it’s important to us that you enjoy your stay here as much as we do.
