Primary bedroom is private oasis with king bed, fireplace, balcony, ensuite bathroom (shower and jetted tub) and mountain views. Family room w/fireplace, cathedral ceiling and wall of windows. Second family room w/large TV and air hockey. Amazing views, surrounded by nature yet close to town. The space Welcome to Rocky Mountain High D'Way, our comfortable and open mountain retreat! With 4,200 square feet, three levels, 6 bedrooms and 4.5 baths, our home is perfectly designed for family vacations and groups (up to 14). Located only 4.5 miles from Main Street in Breckenridge and world-class skiing, the home feels like a world away. Enjoy amazing SUNSET views over the mountains with the west-facing deck and windows with mountain views from the main floor family room, primary bedroom (you can enjoy from the bed), balcony and hot tub! Main level family room features a cathedral ceiling and a wall of windows, TV with streaming services and river rock fireplace (gas logs). A SECOND family room is on the lower level with a large TV, air hockey table, bar seating and a selection of board games and books. The primary bedroom is a private oasis featuring a cozy fireplace (gas logs) and walk out balcony with king bed and ensuite bathroom (jetted tub and separate shower). Enjoy the great views from the bed or the balcony! A second bedroom on the upper level also has an ensuite bathroom with walk-in shower. ALL bedrooms have TVs equipped for streaming services. The bedrooms are spread out with two on the top floor, two on the main floor and two on the lower level. A sleeper sofa and 2 rollaway twin beds provide more flexibility in sleeping arrangements. For families, we provide a Pack 'n Play and highchair. For your added comfort, we provide fans, heaters and humidifiers. Relax in the large 6+ person Jacuzzi hot tub on the deck with beautiful views of the mountains and the amazing array of stars at night (Breckenridge is a Certified Dark Sky Community). Use the telescope to view constellations and planets. Enjoy the large deck year 'round with gas fire pit/table, dining table, Adirondack chairs and gas grill. Kitchen is well equipped with Bosch range and oven, refrigerator with ice maker, dishwasher, Keurig and drip coffee maker, crock pot and much more! Kitchen has cozy breakfast nook with picture windows. Heated two-car garage and connecting mudroom/laundry room are especially convenient during the snowy months. An office with computer, printer and desk is on the upper level. With the White River National Forest just behind our property, you may see moose, deer or fox in the yard or neighborhood. Start your hike at the house. The Blue River Trail is directly across the street with two other trails just down the street. A community park with playground is in the neighborhood. Guest access With access to the whole home, you'll enjoy heated tile floors in entry and kitchen, complimentary WIFI, laptop computer with printer (to print boarding passes) in loft office, large screen tv in family game room on lower level with elliptical and foosball table, Heated two-car garage. Second large family room on main level with large screen TV. The house is a perfect setting for family gatherings, games and relaxing in front of the fire while watching the snowfall. Dining table seats 8, plus 2 bar stools and breakfast nook for 4. Guests have access to the entire yard and the National Forest borders the back of the property. Trail into national forest is directly across the street. Other things to note Minimum Age to rent is 25. Maximum guest count is 14. RMH is a NON-smoking home. A 4WD vehicle is necessary during snowy season (November-May). Please note the altitude in Breckenridge is around 9600 feet above sea level. Our home is closer to 10,200. (We can help you prepare ahead of your trip) but please research ahead of your trip how to manage. There are oxygen bars in town and portable cans of oxygen you can purchase. Snowmobile and ATV tours and rentals are available in Breckenridge. Other activities in the area include sledding, snow tubing, cross country skiing, snow shoeing, dog sledding, carriage rides, mine tours, distillery tours, fly fishing, horseback riding, and, of course, hiking! Trails into the National Forest are across the street and at the end of Coronet Drive. Several of Colorado's famous Fourteeners are close by with Quandary Peak about five miles from the property.
