The road to the cabin is steep, gravel, and one lane. It takes about 10 minutes to drive. AWD or 4WD is absolutely required. 2WD vehicles are not allowed. Subarus and small SUVs work great. Extra-large vehicles, trailers, and ATVs are not permitted. Drivers must be comfortable navigating steep terrain, backing up if needed, and sharing the road with others. We are 14 miles from the nearest grocery store—please bring your supplies for your first night. Check-in before 8 PM or before dark is strongly encouraged, especially after September. Forgotten items can be shipped for a $75 fee. Additional guests are charged for the full reservation, regardless of nights stayed.
