Our place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers. You'll love our place because our road takes you along the scenic St. Croix River. Our rustic log cabin echoes back to 1858, with a gentle expansion in 1992. Come and cozy up in an honest place where you can tuck in for a time, or venture out into Taylors Falls for: -Canoeing and Kayaking -Hiking and Biking Trails -Rock Climbing -Summer Water Park -Miniature Golfing -Winter Skiing, Snowboarding and Tubing -Wineries The space Our cabin offers a newly remodeled lower level for our guests. This is private and includes a bathroom with heated floors, shower and claw foot bath tub. We also provide a small refrigerator, microwave, electric water pot, French press with offerings. Fresh fruit in season for breakfast with hot cereal or granola, yogurt and a snack or two to snatch for the road. Guest access You have access to the lower level of the cabin to enjoy, along with our front porch and sun porch in season. We also have a closet of a wide array of games upstairs, just waiting for you to ask. During your stay We are wholeheartedly available to our guests to answer any questions. If we decide to leave for a time, we will communicate with you and you will have access to our cell phone number. Other things to note Our cabin is surrounded by beautiful red and white pine and oak trees. There is not a house in view. We are on Wild Mountain Road, which is a 17 mile frontage road that takes you partially along the St. Croix River. We own an acre of land. Across the street from our cabin and through the woods will take you to the beautiful St. Croix River, which is apart of the 252 miles of the St. Croix National Scenic Riverway. Definitely, beauty for the eye to behold.
