Quiet, pet-friendly country cottage

Stay in a private cottage in the Dutch countryside. A peaceful place to slow down, relax and unwind. Located in the Hoeksche Waard, just 25 minutes from major cities and 40 minutes from the North Sea. Walking and cycling routes start right from the property. Inside, you’ll find a cozy loft with a comfortable double bed, a well-equipped kitchen, and air conditioning for both cooling and heating. Dogs and cats are welcome and can roam safely in the private, fully fenced garden! The space Unwind completely in our cozy cottage in Hoeksche Waard. You will be staying in the countryside, surrounded by greenery, with your own fully fenced garden and plenty of privacy. The cottage is comfortably furnished for two people and equipped with every comfort. Enjoy the peace and nature outdoors, take beautiful walks or bike rides through the surrounding area, and end the day cozily by the pellet stove. Your dog and a child up to two years old are also welcome. - Arrival and parking Upon arrival, park the car in your own private parking area, safely behind the locked gate. We will receive you in person and accompany you to the cottage. Are you bringing a dog? Then please keep your dog on a leash between the parking lot and the private garden. Our cats and dogs can roam around on the shared grounds. - The Stay The cottage has been decorated with great care and love. Inside, you will find a cozy living room, a spacious kitchen, a private enclosed bathroom and a comfortable sleeping loft. Thanks to the underfloor heating and air conditioning, it is pleasant to stay here all year round. The kitchen features, among other things: * a four-burner induction hob; * A fridge; * a small oven; * A Nespresso machine; * A milk frother; * plenty of crockery and cooking utensils. There is no dishwasher in the cottage, but of course you don't have to do the dishes yourself during your vacation. Put the used dishes in the designated crate and place it outside. We'll take care of the rest. The enclosed bathroom has a toilet, washbasin and shower. Towels and bathrobes will be waiting for you upon arrival. Via the staircase, you access the cozy sleeping loft. Here, there is a comfortable double bed overlooking the greenery and the surrounding meadows. Will a child under two years of age be coming with you? Just let us know in advance, and we'll have a crib and high chair ready for you. - Your own private garden The cottage has a spacious, fully fenced private garden with various seating areas and views of the greenery and the surrounding meadows. Although the cottage is on our property, you have your own space inside and outside, and plenty of privacy. We are nearby if you need anything, but otherwise we will leave you to enjoy your stay undisturbed. - Staying with your dog Dogs are warmly welcome. Thanks to the fully fenced garden, your dog can roam safely outside while you relax. We also try to make the stay as pleasant as possible for dogs inside. In the immediate vicinity, you will find several quiet walking routes through the polder. - Personal hospitality We like to welcome our guests personally and make sure you have everything you need during your stay. Many guests particularly appreciate the small, personal extras. That's why we like to surprise you during your stay with something homemade or something tasty to have with your coffee. We are happy to help, while at the same time respecting your privacy. - Quiet location, but centrally located From the cottage, you can walk or cycle directly into the rural area of the Hoeksche Waard. At the same time, the cottage is centrally located for various excursions. Rotterdam, Dordrecht and Breda are easily accessible by car. Nature reserves, historic villages and the South Holland coast are also within easy reach. After a day out, you return to a quiet place where you can truly relax for a while. - Good to know: In older reviews and in older photos, you may come across our alpacas. They lived on the property for many years and were a beloved part of the stay. As of January 2027, they will no longer be present. The cottage, the fully fenced private garden, the rural setting and our personal hospitality naturally remain the same.
