Cottage directly on Cayuga Lake

This is a simple beautiful cottage on the water 4 miles from downtown Ithaca. West side of Cayuga Lake, with kayaks, dock, lake frontage, grill, firepit, for wonderful outdoor living. Plan to stay as long s possible because you will not want to leave! Rates vary with length of stay and season. Dogs allowed. The space Many lake cottages are atop hillsides and the beach is far below. Here, there are 85 steps from car to house, but once home, you are at the beach! Make sure you and your guests can do the stairs. Neighbors are nearby and friendly, but privacy reigns on your porch, the dock, and of course in your rooms overlooking the water. Guest access The cottage is on the west shore of cayuga, 4 miles from town, and four miles from magnificent Taughannock State Park and falls. Just a few more miles to the lovely town of Trumansburg. Restaurants in all directions including a short walk up the road to the Glenwood Pines, a popular casual eatery. On the water, you can watch sailboat races, as we are also near the Ithaca Yacht Club, though there is no direct access to the club. Other things to note There is a set of 85 excellent stairs from the parking lot to the cottage at lake level. This is your primary access to the cottage. Bringa flashlight for nighttime arrivals, bring water shoes for the beach, and most everything else is provided, including beach accessories, linenes, kayaks and life jackets.
