This is a cozy quiet 1950s cottage surrounded by green space and creeks. Many times I have seen deer in the yard in the early morning. The cottage is walking distance enough to downtown and Depot Park. It is biking distance to UF and Shands. The cottage is stocked with a full kitchen and is great for cooking. This space is dog-friendly and has a fenced in yard. There is Roku TV for your entertainment needs. The cottage is cooled and heated with Mini Split AC. The space Our sweet cottage was recently occupied by a folk artist who left her artistic touch on the whole space. There are flowers blooming outside and owls, nesting in the trees. The cottage is a great place to be if you want the tranquility of nature with the proximity to all the happenings in Gainesville. The bathroom is small, but has some nice amenities: double shower heads, tub, tile shower walls, skylight above tub. Yard is a good size and back is fenced. Nice screened front porch. Parking is on SE 8th Ave, which is not paved. Hope you enjoy your stay in Gainesville! Guest access Guests have access to the whole house and yard. There is laundry onsite. Other things to note Pets: We are happy to welcome dogs (and dogs only) in this unit. We don't allow cats or other pets at this time. We do ask that you notify us ahead of time if you plan to bring a pet. Our cleaning crew charges a $20 pet cleaning fee for up to two dogs and an additional $10 per dog thereafter. Please be sure to indicate in the booking that we'll also be hosting our furry friend(s). We ask your sincere assurance that your pup(s) are current on flea meds and do not go on the couch or beds.
