Nestled on the serene shores of Loch Shiel, Belmont Chapel Cottage is a beautifully renovated chapel, originally completed in 1913. This cosy and luxurious self-catering holiday cottage offers an unforgettable experience, with stunning views of the loch, hills, woodlands, and forests that surround it. The light over Loch Shiel constantly changes, offering a fresh perspective every time you gaze out the window, making each moment at Belmont Chapel unique. You can enjoy your morning coffee or evening drink at the picnic bench in the front garden, taking in the magnificent views when the weather permits. If you're lucky enough and willing to stay up late, you might be treated to the breathtaking spectacle of the Aurora Borealis (Northern Lights) shimmering across the loch—a sight captured in many wonderful photographs taken from the nearby pier. Whether you're visiting in spring, summer, autumn, or winter, the Ardnamurchan Peninsula offers beauty and tranquility year-round. Spring brings new life to the landscape, and from April to June, we often enjoy the warmest and sunniest weather. Summer is the busiest time, though our remote location ensures that you can still enjoy peaceful, deserted beaches even during peak holiday months. In autumn, the hills turn golden, and you can hear the haunting calls of the stags. Winter brings dramatic light displays with magical sunrises and sunsets, and icy mountains provide incredible views. The cottage features an open-plan living area with a kitchen, dining space, and a comfortable sofa bed. A modern bathroom with a bath and shower, plus a sunroom/porch with views of the loch, offer added relaxation. There are two bedrooms: a king-size room and a twin room with two narrow, zip-linked single beds (which can be converted into a king-size).
