Glanrafon Cottage in Snowdonia

Glanrafon Cottage is an 1850's Coachmans terraced cottage. That has recently been lovingly renovated to a high standard, with everything you could need for a comfortable and enjoyable escape. Situated in the heart of Snowdonia. The perfect location for exploring the National Park and all it has to offer. Or if you prefer you could sit and relax in our Zen Garden and enjoy the wonderful view. The space This mid 19th century terrace cottage is renovated to a high standard in a sympathetic and modern style, with all the creature comforts including underfloor heating throughout. Entry via a private walkway from your own parking. The cottage is single storey and has 2 good sized bedrooms (1 king size double, the other a 2-bed twin but can be converted to a large double on request.) The bathroom has a large rolltop bath and a walk-in shower, soft towels are provided, there is also a small utility room with washer/dryer and drying line for wet clothes. The kitchen/living area is open plan, which has comfortable sofa seating for 4, dining table and a log burner. There is a large flatscreen tv with all channels and many films and series to watch on rainy days, plus several boardgames and books. High speed WIFI throughout the cottage. The kitchen is well appointed with everything you could need to cook for a family of four. This all opens out via a back patio to a quiet small "Zen" style garden with outdoor seating/dining area, and magnificent views backed by a river with pools to swim in on hotter days. If you decide to venture out, there are lots of great short walks around the village or you can catch a bus from the end of the drive to access Snowdon or Ogwen valley for longer walks, adrenaline days or shopping and sightseeing in one of the many local attractions or picturesque villages. Within a few minutes’ walk there are 2 local pubs serving food and a cafe serving food all day. Guest access Guests have their own parking space for 1 vehicle, access to the entire cottage and garden , they can also explore the river at the end of the garden. Other things to note Please Park at end of cottage as close to the house as possible, so that other residents that share access can pass.
