Privacy, Silence, Views, Wildlife from the living room window (Elk, Deer, birds of prey and more) 2500 square foot home (sleeps up to 11) with 360 degree views of Mt Hood, Mt Adams, the Gorge, Dufur, Simcoe Mountains and more from the living room, kitchen and 3 decks surrounding the house. This is a big AirBnB - you can sleep 11 people and have access to all of our 1462 acre ranch, with this house being the only one on 1100 acres This home is on the North Side of our Property The space It's newly remodeled including new floors, paint, appliances and new furniture, art. There are views from all over inside and outside the house. It's truly epic. Guest access The entire 4 bedroom house and 1462 acres of the property. Other things to note Even though though the house is modern and comfortable, what makes this place unique is the setting, views, silences and privacy. The house is redone in 2022 - though it is old and not perfect. A hard core farmer lived in the house for 30+ years before we redid it. The house in the middle of a field, totally in nature and off-grid...ie we have a septic and our on water - not on city water. The last 2 miles of Rail Hollow Road is gravel. The house is on a working farm and weather can be cold or super hot - depending on the time of year. This AirBnB is on a working regenerative farm, ie we are not the Four Seasons in the Middle of Seattle or Portland. Dog Agreement - all dogs must be pre-approved and are not allowed on the furniture. Please crate your dog if they are not able to stay off couches, beds and chairs. Based on the criteria below, please make a realistic call as to whether your dog/s are likely to do well at our farm. The reality is while most dogs are wonderful, they aren’t necessarily all great houseguests. Nobody knows our dogs like we do ourselves, so glance at your buddy sitting over there by the food dish (or eating the food dish) … and keep him or her in mind as you read on. Requirements: Dogs should be… At least one year old. Spayed or neutered. Obedient and calm – on and off leash. Free from behavioral problems such as excessive barking or howling, chewing, scratching at/near doors and windows, hyper behavior such as jumping up. Non-aggressive toward people and animals. Please do not bring a dog to our property if it has any history of aggression. House trained. If your male dog likes to mark outdoors, please steer him away from exterior structures to avoid stains and odors. Fido can sign his name on plenty of trees instead. We recommend Flea/Tick prevention to protect your dog (and future guests). We also recommend heartworm preventive. House Rules: No dogs on furniture. Crate your pup/s when they’re alone indoors. You can bring a crate or we can provide one or two on request. Good housekeeping. Wipe off wet/muddy paws; use an old towel to dry your dog before coming in after a swim. Pick up dog waste, bag/tie and place in one of the covered bins outside or in the garage. Report any injuries, damages or complaints to us right away. Hosts retain the right to require immediate removal of any dog if the animal is being disruptive, causing damage, posing a risk to people or other animals, or for other major violations. No smoking or vaping in the house, outside, or anywhere on our property Dog Fees: $55 per dog per stay of 7 nights or less, due after your dog/s have been approved. You’ll receive an email requesting payment of any outstanding pet fees. Dog fees are not applied to extra cleaning costs or damage repairs. Dog Deposits: $125 per dog, fully refundable. Deposit will be returned within one week after check-out, less any charges for damages, extra cleaning or other pet-related costs. If issues are found after check-out, photos will be taken and shared with you to document the reason for charges.
